My 2021 resolutions
Every year it's the same thing: we promise to stop smoking, to go to sport 6 times a week and to say a definitive "no" to Fast Food...
So for those of you who haven't managed to stick to your 2020 resolutions, we've decided to help you in the New Year, so you can finally adopt new slimming habits!
- I spend more time at the table
To avoid putting on weight by nibbling between meals, take your time at the table. It's advisable to spend at least 30 minutes at the table, to allow you to feel full. In 1990, the average lunch was 1.5 hours long; today it's 22 minutes.
There are a number of tips to help you make time for breakfast.
First of all, we take the time to chew, savoring each food by becoming aware of its taste and flavor.
Then take a real lunch break! Even if your morning meeting dragged on until 3 p.m., take a real break. Don't just eat a small salad or a piece of fruit that will give you the munchies in the afternoon. Instead, opt for a starchy dish that will keep you going until the end of the day.
- I get up earlier in the morning
"The future belongs to those who get up early".
In fact, according to Scandinavian researchers, the earlier you get up, the lower your risk of becoming obese.
We often have a mountain of things to do in the morning: get dressed, wash up, take care of the kids, prepare their breakfast... and we often forget the most important thing of all: eating breakfast. And yet it's one of the meals you shouldn't neglect!
It keeps us going until lunchtime, while avoiding the temptation to reach for the chocolate bars in the machine during the coffee break.
So, to get the New Year off to a good start, we get up 15/20 minutes earlier than usual and take the time to prepare a good full breakfast for our first meal of the day. Forget the industrial viennoiseries and croissants from your baker's and try homemade recipes, such as fromage blanc, muesli or fruit salad.

- I wear Lytess cosmetotextiles
Day or night, Lytess cosmetotextiles will help you take care of your body. For slimmer legs in the morning, opt for the slimming night leggings. With their ultra-comfortable second-skin fabric, they offer slimming efficacy from as early as 10 nights. In terms of cosmetic action, they offer slimming action thanks to Forskoline and Wheat Wax, anti-cellulite action thanks to Garcinia and Red Algae, and firming action thanks to Little Holly extract.
For daytime, you can cheat just a little bit under your tight dresses with the slimming shaper bodysuit. You'll immediately benefit from a slimmer, more structured waist. Boost your self-confidence and feel beautiful!
- I drink water
We can't stress this enough: drinking water is essential for your mental well-being, and above all that of your body. But there's no need to drink 2 liters a day at all costs (it's recommended to drink around 30 ml of water per kg).
To drink more water, here are a few tips: first of all, in the morning, drink a large glass of water, then prepare an herbal tea to drink throughout the morning, and for the afternoon, opt for homemade lemonade made with fruit, mint, basil and a little natural syrup (rice, oat, agave...).
Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink! If you never feel thirsty, you may be one of the 50% of Europeans who are unknowingly dehydrated.
And don't forget that alcohol is a major calorie burner! So try to set yourself some (reasonable) limits on a night out with your girlfriends or a family meal.
- I share the housework
In most families, moms have to cook 365 days a year, 7 days a week. And yet, after spending the day at work, we'd prefer to sit back and relax on our sofa, wanting anything but to spend 1 hour in the kitchen concocting a dish for the whole family.
In the end, we often end up ordering pizzas or fast food... An easy solution, perhaps, but not necessarily for the scales!
The solution? Share the household chores and get the kids and husband to pitch in.
You could, for example, give your partner an "easy cooking" book and list examples of recipes he or she can make with the ingredients in the fridge, or discuss together how many times a week he or she will have to prepare the meal.
And this organization doesn't just apply to cooking: you can also set up a schedule for cleaning, washing up and ironing.
Take a leaf out of this book.
- I shop online
The worst vice of all is shopping when you're hungry... It's hard to resist the cookies and madeleines at the head of the aisle!
So change your habits and opt for online shopping, you'll find nothing but advantages.
First and foremost, it saves a considerable amount of time, reduces stress and simplifies everyday life. You can do your shopping right from the comfort of your sofa, without having to go anywhere. It also avoids long queues at the checkout.
Secondly, online shopping puts you in control of your budget. You have a direct view of the items in your shopping basket, as well as your total purchases.
- I treat myself to moments of relaxation
Overwhelmed by work and family commitments, it's not uncommon to spend the whole week without a moment of relaxation. It's time to do something about it! It's important to take time for yourself, to relax and unwind.
Opt for a massage, for example. Massage is much more than just a moment of relaxation. Not only does it help reduce stress, it also prevents illness, improves overall health, and is even said to help you lose weight.
To take care of yourself, you can also wear a Lytess bodysuit, like the Termo long-sleeve bodysuit. They allow you to take care of your body and your skin while looking beautiful!
